Dr. Tara Grauwe


TaraDr. Tara Grauwet obtained her PhD in Food Technology at KU Leuven, Belgium in 2010. Working at the Laboratory of Food Technology (LFT), she developed enzyme-based indicators for temperature uniformity mapping in high pressure processing reactors. Since 2011, she is a post-doctoral researcher at LFT guiding a team focusing on fingerprinting and kinetics for food process impact evaluation. By integrating this untargeted and targeted analytical approach, it is their goal to obtain insight in quality changes immediately after processing (traditional as well as novel processing methods) but also as a function of subsequent storage.
