Dr. Hao Feng received his Ph.D. in food engineering at Washington State University. He is now an Associate Professor of food and bio-process engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research profile spans from ultrasound technology as a new food processing and preservation modality,novel chemical and physical treatments to secure food safety, deconstruction strategies for production of chemicals from renewable sources, to natural polymer-mediated nano-delivery systems.
