Dr. Carmen Moraru —  Cornell University — USA


Dr. Carmen I. Moraru is an Associate Professor of Food Science at Cornell University. Her research focuses on using engineering principles to develop novel solutions for improving food safety and quality. Her group specializes in Pulsed Light and Microfiltration as nonthermal methods for microbial inactivation or removal. Her laboratory is also working on developing food contact surfaces with antifouling and antimicrobial properties.
