Authors are requested to read the instructions below carefully before preparing and submitting their abstract.

The best poster wins a prize! And all approved abstracts will be invited to submit for a special issue of Food Engineering Reviews .

Abstract acceptance and inclusion in the program:

Abstract acceptance, editing and program scheduling will be advised via email to the person submitting the abstract.

Notification of successful abstract submissions will be:

05th June 2013
for the abstracts submitted until 15 May

14th June 2013 for the abstracts submitted until 02 June

Poster specifications will be provided on acceptance of your abstract. Contributions will be included in the Program only if at least one of the authors is registered to attend the conference by 28th August 2013.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to refuse any contribution that is not appropriate to the conference or not of sufficient scientific or technological merit.

Poster Presentation Details

  • Display panel dimensions are horizontal 2m (wide) x 2m (high).  The space allocated for your poster is 0.8m wide x 1.2m high.  There will be 4 posters per board [2 on each side of the board]
  • Posterboards will be displayed during morning /afternoon breaks and lunch. Boards will be available for you to put your poster up from13:00 on Monday 30 September.
  • Poster Presenters are required to be next to their Posters during session breaks to answer questions from delegates, including the poster review panel.
